You’ve gotta introduce car enthusiasm gradually. Like, start with a BMW 340i, say “see it’s understated but still fun to drive.”

Eventually introduce the M3, and then graduate to base model Porsche 911s. Baby steps, she’ll appreciate the GT3 eventually...

I have her to the point that she’ll point out old Land/Range Rovers, Jags, and Miatas, and, unprompted by me, any VW vans.

We did have a minor tiff today when I pointed out a hardtop Z4 and she responded “huh, if you like it.”

I was going to say that everyone can have their own opinions. As someone who loves fast sports cars, I do sometimes thing some of the GT3s, and other be-winged racers, look a bit over the top. But if she’s into old jags, rovers, etc., that’s really cool.

Then I saw this comment. I think you need to trade her in for a different model. Hahahaha

I think the JLRs are just for my benefit.

The Solara is kind of a dealbreaker, but my guilty pleasure is secretly wanting an SC, so that just makes owning and being seen in an SC that much easier.
